We're all of us chained. How could it possibly be otherwise? "I will be taken where I would not go." (I may have misquoted that ... it's been nearly 3 decades since I've done any Bible study.)
If I think myself not chained then perhaps I will think I'm breathing while having a drink of water ... that might kill me ... and it wouldn't be suicide ... more like "death by disconnection with the reality of the very precious moment".
